Dora’s Driving Tip – Let me show you what I mean about blind spots. This test works best on a PC screen or tablet. Cover your left eye, and read the letters. The letters should be eye level, around 30cm from the screen. You should see the black spot disappear and reappear. You may need to adjust your position from the screen for this to work. This demonstrates the danger of your blind spot. Fix on a letter where you can see the spot, and then switch to a letter where you can’t see it. Do this several times over to see your blind spot in action. Now image that black spot is a biker, and you’re running late for a meeting…Did the test work?
