Bespoke Driving Course Content:
Although the courses we offer are very different, there are still some generic points we include; the key difference is how we deliver them to the client. For example, boosting confidence for a young driver will look very different to boosting confidence for a driver with 50 years of experience.
Below are some of the common things we look at and develop during our driver training sessions.
* Looking at a driver’s specific day-to-day driving and driving history to make a bespoke training plan
* Looking ahead and developing powers of observation
* Increasing focus on speed and excessive speed
* Modifying attitude towards a safer, more proactive way to drive
* Learning the System of Car Control
* How to avoid road rage situations
* Manoeuvres, reversing, and operating in confined spaces
* Driving safety on the motorway and dual carriageways
* Becoming a safer urban driver – identifying and dealing with pedestrians and cyclists
* Learn how to drive in a more environmentally friendly way
* How to boost driving confidence
* Identifying high-risk driving, such as at night, driving tired or when stressed
The personalised nature of our training means we can vary the time we spend on specific points. It all depends on the driver and what’s best for them.

Duration Overview – What’s Ideal For You?
Our courses are split into 3.5-hour sessions. While some opt for 7-hour sessions, they can be hard for some drivers who are perhaps not used to driving for such a long time.
One of the most popular session formats is the 2 x 3.5hr sessions, especially for private clients as it allows time in between each session to absorb what has been covered.
We also offer 3,4, and 5 x 3.5hr sessions. These tend to be suited to those who have very specific confidence issues or who have not driven in a long time.
If you are unsure what course is best, you can opt for one or two 3.5hr sessions and then book more on a pro-rata rate if needed.

Road Safety – Risks and Hazards in Havant:
While specific data on dangerous roads in Havant may vary, several roads in the area have been known to pose higher risks due to factors such as traffic volume, sharp bends, and busy junctions. Here are some of the roads that have historically been considered more hazardous:
- A27 – A major road that runs through Havant, it has seen several accidents due to high traffic volume, especially during peak times. The speed limits and multiple junctions can contribute to the risk of collisions.
- A3(M) – The stretch of the A3(M) near Havant can be dangerous, particularly during heavy traffic or adverse weather conditions. High-speed traffic and sudden braking or lane changes can increase the accident risk.
- A259 – This coastal road has narrow stretches and junctions with limited visibility, which can lead to accidents, particularly when drivers are not expecting heavy traffic or fast-moving vehicles.
- B2149 (Havant Road) – This road is often used by commuters and can become quite congested, particularly at busy junctions. The combination of merging traffic and frequent turns increases the risk of collisions.
- B2150 (London Road) – London Road has areas with high foot traffic and busy junctions, which can create hazards for both vehicles and pedestrians. The road can also experience congestion, leading to potential rear-end collisions.
