Duration Overview – What’s Ideal For You?
Our courses are split into 3.5-hour sessions. While some opt for 7-hour sessions, they can be hard for some drivers who are perhaps not used to driving for such a long time.
One of the most popular session formats is the 2 x 3.5-hour sessions, especially for private clients, as it allows time in between each session to absorb what has been covered.
We also offer 3,4, and 5 x 3.5hr sessions. These tend to be suited to those who have very specific confidence issues or who have not driven in a long time.
If you are unsure what course is best, you can opt for one or two 3.5-hour sessions and then book more on a pro-rata rate if needed.

Road Safety – Risks and Hazards in Warminster
While there isn’t a widely recognized list of “dangerous” roads in Warminster specifically, certain roads can be considered more hazardous due to factors such as heavy traffic, sharp bends, or poor visibility. Some roads that may pose risks include:
A36 – While it’s a major road connecting Warminster to Salisbury and Bath, it is known for sections with sharp bends and high-speed limits, which can be dangerous, especially in adverse weather conditions or for unfamiliar drivers.
A350 – This road, which passes through Warminster, can be hazardous due to its busy nature, particularly around junctions and certain stretches that are narrow or poorly lit.
B3414 – Certain parts of this local road, especially those winding through rural areas, can have limited visibility and tight corners, which may be dangerous, especially for drivers unfamiliar with the area.
The Narrower Country Roads – Smaller roads around Warminster, such as those leading to nearby villages like Corsley or Crockerton, can be tricky due to sharp turns, uneven surfaces, and the presence of farm traffic.
As with any rural or semi-rural area, drivers should be cautious, particularly on narrower, winding roads or in bad weather. Always check local traffic reports for up-to-date conditions on road safety.
