This is very important as it lets you know the skill and competency level of a driver and what they also need to work on. We take report authentication seriously, which is why each report we produce is fully documented and has its own unique verification number so that you can check back for an original copy with us. This is useful if an employer has asked an employee to take driver training.

Manchester has excellent transport routes across the whole city and beyond. With the A56 and A57 to the north of the city and the A6 and A34 to the east, and the M56 motorway in the south, navigating Manchester is very easy. We have trained clients in Chorltonville, Stockport, Wythenshawe, Prestwich and Failsworth, the city centre, and across Lancashire. Since 2017, we have been delivering an excellent standard of advanced driver training to our private and business clients. Our courses are different to other training providers as all of our courses are tailored to the individual driver, and we come to your chosen address, be that home or office. You will be using your own vehicles, and we can train car and van drivers alike.
Whether you are a private client or a business customer, we can build a course based on your specific needs and requirements anywhere in the UK.
Our courses do vary in structure, although we have several courses based on duration:
3.5hr session
7hr session (which can be split between two drivers if needed)
2 x 3.5hr sessions
3 x 3.5hr sessions – We also have longer courses if needed.
The 7hr session, as mentioned above, can be split between two drivers, which is time and cost-efficient. One driver will be trained in the morning, usually from 9.00 to 12:30, and then the second in the afternoon, usually from 13:00 to 16:30. We can be flexible on start times if needed. Each driver has 3.5hr on-road training.
Longer Duration Courses:
Our bespoke 3, 4 and 5 x 3.5hr sessions are suited to those with specific driving issues. These issues include driving anxiety, motorway confidence, a fear of driving in new areas, post-RTC confidence or those that have not driven in a long time.
These longer courses are booked mainly by private individuals, although they are also open to our business customers.
Those who commit to the longer-duration courses see change happen over the weeks as they build confidence and address the specific issues they may be facing.
Contact information
We have several training options and packages. Please call us for more information. The team member you talk with will, more often than not, manage your enquiry right through to training. This includes private individuals and business customers.
If you’re looking for a quote for many drivers, we will be happy to provide one and how we can best arrange the training based on your organisation’s specific requirements.
Road Safety Risks and Information – Manchester
Manchester is a huge and busy city in the northwest of the UK. It is served primarily by the M60 motorway and several very fast A-road routes, such as the A6, A56, A34, and A57. All of these routes have very high accident rates, and many could be avoided with better observations and more attention to other drivers’ intentions, especially in rush hours, when everyone is desperate to get to their destinations on time.
The M60, a major road encircling Manchester and linking numerous A roads to the city centre, poses a significant challenge. Junctions 11 and 12, which link the M602, are particularly notorious for a high number of accidents, some of them sadly fatal. Poor lane exiting is often the cause, emphasizing the need for correct positioning and awareness of struggling drivers. Large urban intersections like these are hotspots for accidents that may be caused by drivers unfamiliar with the area. The M602 dual carriageway, a major route into Manchester, also sees a high number of accidents, especially at traffic light junctions and roundabouts, such as the Regent Road Roundabout linking the A57, Eccles New Road, and the A5063, Albion Way. Junction 3 of the M60, linking the A34 Kingsway and the M56 from Ellesmere Port. This is another hazardous intersection with many severe accidents noted, often due to poor lane positioning. Using a Sat Nav can provide advanced lane guidance, a useful tool for navigating such intersections. Junction 23, linking Manchester Road, A635 from Ashton Under Lyme, is another highly hazardous intersection, especially on the slip roads where incorrect speeds can be a factor. Maintaining the correct speed for exiting and entering busy motorways is crucial.
The A365 merges into the Ashton Old Road into Manchester centre and is a highly populated residential routes shared with public transport lanes, and more pedestrians and cyclists and the accidents that occur along this route are severe even though the speed limits are low, suggesting that pedestrians or cyclists may be involved. When driving in busy urban areas, you will likely find drivers trying to exit their drives onto busy roads, passengers trying to cross in front of busses, and cyclists trying to skip traffic lights; just as a few examples. Another similar area is Oldham Road, A62, linking from Junction 22 of the M60; this travels through a residential area with high collision rates. Manchester has far more fatal accidents than the majority of cities in the UK, which is not surprising as it is one of the busiest cities outside of London, but many of these accidents can be pinpointed to driver errors, which could have been easily avoided with better observations and an understanding of urban driving techniques.
If you have specific roads you frequently travel on in Manchester and are curious about the collision risks associated with them, we are here to help. Our free-of-charge service is available to anyone seeking this information, providing you with the knowledge to make safer travel decisions.
