Our advanced driving courses, based across the UK including Birmingham, are ideal for companies that:

  1. Want to initiate an advanced driving course for some or all of their company car or van drivers
  2. Have a certain driver who is having one too many incidents when driving a company car or van
  3. Have seen a spike in company vehicle road traffic collisions, and want to take action, and to demonstrate their Duty of Care as an employer

A popular location for our advanced driving courses is in Birmingham. We have access to over 30 tutors within a 10-mile radius of the city centre.

Most of our advanced driving courses that take place in Birmingham include locations as far south as Worcester and Stratford, as far north as Stafford, and to the west, we cover Telford and parts of Shropshire. In the east, we can travel to places such as Rugby and Leicester.

With our advanced driving courses that are based around Birmingham, we tend to incorporate a range of roads. So although we may go into Birmingham city centre and negotiate the A38(M) and Broad Street, we also head out on the M5, M6, M42 and M40, driving towards various villages and towns including Kidderminster, Studley, Hampton in Arden and may more.

Some of the best roads where our tutors take drivers include the A449 near Kidderminster, and also the A441 towards the South of Birmingham. We tend to find these roads are where most accidents occur, so it makes sense to provide expert advanced driver training on these roads – when drivers need driving skills the most!

With all our courses we ensure that drivers receive training on all roads including urban, motorways, dual carriageways and rural roads. Although the centre of Birmingham is congested, there are lots of opportunities to get out of the centre and really understand what our advanced driving courses are all about.

With our advanced driving courses, we cover a range of driving situations which include:

Rural Roads – We can head out of the city in all directions to get good coverage of rural roads. Like all other areas in the UK, rural roads are great for practising car control and to really get to grips with roads few drivers have advanced experience on.

Motorways – The Midlands has a great motorway network including the famous spaghetti junction just to the north of the city centre on the M6. Although these roads can be daunting, they can provide excellent advanced driver training for all drivers.

Urban – The city centre provides a great backdrop for urban and town/city driving.

Out of Town A Roads – These roads are regarded as the most dangerous, in relation to serious accidents per mile of road. As a result, we always ensure, where possible, part of the course covers these roads.
